BEFORE YOU BOOK
Kick Back Tikis offers several different tour packages available for purchase. Prices are based on tour duration, destination, and tour availability. Every tour has additional options available for purchase like food and drink options as well as branded clothing and apparel.
Our tiki boat has a max of 6 passengers, this does not include the captain. The capacity is a US Coast Guard restriction and includes all living people regardless of age. Unfortunately, we have absolutely no flexibility in the capacity of the boats due to federal regulations regarding boats for hire.
Yes, our tiki boat has undergone a 2022 Vessel Safety Check certificate for the United States Coast Guard. Our vessel has all necessary safety and precautionary equipment that is prescribed by Federal and State laws.
The Kick Back Tiki crew requests that patrons arrive 15 minutes early prior to the scheduled departure time. This 15 minute buffer will allow patrons to settle themselves on the vessel, sign release of liability waivers (if necessary), and to listen to your captain go over very important emergency, safety, and general rules to follow while on your tiki cruise. We ask you to be early so that you can depart by the tour’s originally scheduled time. We are unable to provide extra time if patrons are running late.
Most of our tours are two hours long. However, on certain days of the week, there are 3.5hr tours that are dedicated to trips where patrons can relax and swim at the sandbar or trips to local restaurants via our tiki boat. If there is not a scheduled trip after your trip, you can talk to your captain about extending your trip for an additional fee.
Our two hour tours typically follow a nonstop route along the Intercoastal waterway behind Wildwood, NJ. Patrons will be allowed to swim from our tiki boats only when the captain has anchored the vessel, turned the engine off, and has okayed that you can get in the water. Permission to leave the vessel at any point during your tour is at the complete discretion of the captain, and is based on but not limited to: tidal patterns,
weather, boat traffic, water clarity, and time remaining in the tour.
Our tiki boat is docked at 626 W 26th St., West Wildwood, NJ. The tiki boat is docked on the main dock, center of the property. There is plenty of free parking available.
Up to 6 passengers regardless of age. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied with a parent / guardian or adult. Anyone under the age of 21 will be allowed to come aboard, but will not be allowed to drink any alcoholic beverage while aboard our vessels, in our parking lots, or during any part of the tour. Children age 12 or younger will be required to wear a USCG approved life jacket for the duration of the tour per NJ state law.
TOUR DETAILS
Yes! We want to provide you with the perfect tiki tour that enables you to relax and enjoy the company that you have around you. We encourage all of our patrons to relax, the way they want to, and enjoy any alcoholic beverages, responsibly. If your captain suspects that anyone on your trip has compromised safety as a result of intoxication, the trip will be canceled with no refund.
Yes! You may bring your own snacks, drinks, and alcoholic drinks. There is plenty of counter / bar space aboard our boat for whatever you may bring. On board, there is a large cooler stocked with ice. You are more than welcome to use our cooler to hold whatever beverages or cold food that you have.
All of our trips will be operated by a United States Coast Guard Licensed captain. Our Captains have undergone a rigorous testing process to get this license, and they work hard to ensure that your safety is always top priority, giving you total peace of mind.
No! Our tiki boat is equipped with a rockin’ stereo system. Control your trip’s own music via bluetooth or choose from one of our company’s “Captain n’ Crew” curated playlists. The choice is yours!
Kick Back Tiki will cruise rain or shine and our hand thatched tiki roof will do a good job to keep you protected. However, in the event that we need to cancel before your trip or if your captain cancels your trip due to weather, a full refund will be issued.
DURING THE TOUR
Yes! We designed our tiki boat with customer well-being in mind. There is nothing worse than being on a booze cruise that you cannot leave and needing to use the bathroom. To ensure the bathroom is consistently operational, we ask if it's brown, wait for town!
All forms of smoking and vaping are prohibited.
NO! Regardless of whether or not you have a prescription, THC in any form is not permitted on any vessel per United States Coast Guard law. We have ZERO flexibility on this matter as our captains could face suspensions of their license if you board the vessel with drugs. If our captains determine you have brought drugs on board, your trip will be suspended and you will be dropped at the nearest dock. Leave it at home!
Unfortunately we do not allow fishing from our tiki boat. However, our captains are all avid fisherman and can provide you with suggestions on fishing charters in the area or give you suggestions on fishing from the surf!
YES! Our captains work very hard before, during and after your tour. Ensuring cleanliness, safety, and making sure everyone has a great time are just some of the tasks they must do to guarantee that everything is perfect for your trip. A 20% tip paid directly to your captain is standard. We recommend this so that they can continue allowing the world to KICK BACK one tiki tour at a time.
